A recently concluded research (Lifeway, August 2009) on families whose parents were born between 1980 and 1990 claimed a decreasing church attendance and practice of faith, today. This generation, also called "millennials", esteem faith and church important but find it uninteresting if not lifeless. Obviously, the main reason for such cold- heartedness is considerably the lack of involvement (among family members) in the church's dynamic life.

With the hope of reducing pollution, which is one of the leading problems in major cities around the world, the Adventist Community decided to start engaging in clean- up drives in some parts of Metro Manila. Members of different Bible centers from Malabon and Caloocan such as Reparo and University Hills joined an initiative in cleaning up certain areas within their vicinity.
