CSF Host 1st Cavite Festival of the Laity

Cavite Satellite Field (CSF) launched the first Festival of the Laity from June 9 to 11, 2017

 at the Lord’s Garden Foundation, Looc, Calamba, Laguna. With the theme “YOUnique Gifts and Talents, Finding Your Gifts and Talents for Service,”
the spiritual feast aimed at discovering and maximizing spiritual gifts for the ministry, understanding and equipping with care group evangelism, and celebrating the multiple years of service to the ministry of lay people. The three- day activity mustered 56 laymen from 76 churches in Cavite.

Done in a secluded and peaceful place conducive for meditation and communion with nature, the weekend festival provided participants with timely and instructive presentations to equip them for better laymen as they go back to their respective churches. The lectures with corresponding presenters include:

Retention and Nurturing Program

International Institute of Christian Discipleship (IICD) Explosion

Jose Zabat: SS/PM Director, NPUC

The morning and evening worship messages were led by Pr. Rene Montoya, Pr. Alberto Soltero, Pr. Adriel Gavenia and Pr. Jose Zabat. Pastor June Canosa, CSF Associate Executive Secretary delivered the sermon during the hour of worship. To recommit all workers for Total Member Involvement, Pastor Jose Zabat gave the timely message.

The event organizers recognized people who rendered ten and more years of service to the ministry. Certificate of Recognition was awarded to those Spirit-filled workers whose fruitful labor for the Master is worth celebrating, giving color and meaning to the Sower’s saving toil.
