of the gospel through medical outreach events. A total of twenty-two medical outreach efforts within the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) territory were conducted by missionary-minded doctors, dentists, and staff of AdventistMed in participation to the Philippines for Christ 2018 initiative from April to July 2018.

Driven by mission, AdventistMed volunteers collaborated with local churches, districts, missions and conferences in light of the Total Member Involvement program of the church. The medical mission teams worked hand in hand with young people, women, health professionals, and balikbayans from USA, Australia, and Canada.

“On behalf of South-Central Luzon Conference (SCLC) Health Ministries department, we would like to thank the Lord for the support you (AdventistMed) have been extending through the medical missionary work,” said Pastor Experejon Fegalan, Health Ministries director of SCLC.

Pastor Arnelio A. Gabin, Health director of NPUC, thanked AdventistMed and Adventist Hospital Palawan for their valuable contributions in the health care aspect of PFC 2018. “NPUC is blessed to have these healthcare institutions in our territory, which are very responsive and proactive in supporting the programs of the church both in evangelism and medical missionary work,” Pastor Gabin said.

“Live the Mission” is the theme of this year’s AdventistMed employees mission excellence retreat held on the four weekends of July 2018 which kept ablaze the very essence of its mission - “Sharing Jesus Christ Healing Ministry.”

AdventistMed medical outreach team poses for a souvenir picture after the medical mission at Brgy. Omaya, San Narciso, Zambales. This mission was in cooperation with Wellspring SDA Church at Milpitas, California, USA.
