Dr. Vic Louis Arreola III, Director for Asian- Pacific Ministries of North American Division, served as the speaker, assisted by his team members: Susan Ngitngit, Ma. Luisa Perez and Lorna Reyes. The effort took place on June 29 to July 7, 2018 at Adventist Hospital Santiago City, Inc. (AHSCI) Church, Santiago City, Isabela.
Prior to the main event, Southern Isabela district and AHSCI church worked for the ground preparations with the involvement of care groups. Care groups have established their cared families and brought them to the evangelistic meetings. Participating in the nightly meetings were different musical groups that featured heavenly melodies. For the health lectures, a number of doctors shared their expertise: Dr. Alvin Reyes, Dr. Rheinald Joel Biscaro, Dr. Omega Mallillin-Biton, Dr. Giselle Abadilla Hepowit, Dr. Remedios Manuel, Dr. Melvyn Orbe and Dr. Florosita Reyes.
Simultaneous with Isabela evangelism, Pastor Joel Sarmiento, NPUC Communication director spoke in another meeting at Cauayan City. It was a rainy week, but the rains did not stop the people from attending the nightlymeetings. OnSabbath,July7,theyjoinedthebig fellowship at AHSCI church, celebrating the goodness of the Lord for the 239 new believers who accepted Jesus through baptism.
The said event was one major evangelistic campaign held simultaneously with 50 other meetings all over Cagayan Valley. As of July, there are 2,332 new believers added to the church.
“It is inspiring to see more people being added to the church especially that we see the involvement of church members ushering them in,” said Pastor Levi Payoyo, NELM president.
