Leadership modeling through God’s written Word challenged the hearts of every leader to remain faithful to His Word and His work. The word of Jesus as the centerpiece of leadership was emphasized. Speakers also affirmed that mingling with our leaders and subordinates is very important and God really wants His leaders to have fellowship and group study in order to strengthen His work.
“The heart of leadership model is not to show eloquence but to share sound faith and life,” Pastor Mangiliman remarked.
“The ladder of success must have the agility to do the task handed to us,” emphasized by Pastor Bermudez.
As speakers shared their personal testimonies, it was implied that sound life must be rooted and grounded from the Scriptures. Thus, it will result to a godly life centered on complete principles and health-giving training.
Pastor Israel Andoy highlighted his presentation, “The sign of an intelligent mind is not to possess mindless beliefs, but rather meaningful doubts.” Meaning doubts begin with doing something for the good of the work. The chain reaction of leadership modeling flows from the Lord Jesus and transferred to us and to others.
One of the presenters shared the scripture in 2 Timothy 2:2, “You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” We should, therefore, remember that the high calling of the publishing leadership modeling is to share “the third angel’s message is to be given through gospel literature, and through the living teacher. You who believe the truth for this time, wake up” (PM, p. 55).
There are four principles that we have learned from our guests: That publishing workers are called by God , committed to teach, connected to the Word and commissioned to preach the Word.
After being blessed by the encouragement of all lecturers, participants joined the social gathering held in Pansol, Laguna. There, they enjoyed the fellowship and some bonding activities.
