Rey and Aileen’s son invited children of their neighbors to play with him in their house. The couple prepared snacks and shared stories about Jesus. Now, every Sunday, a hundred children gather in their place eager to hear stories from the Bible.
Every Sabbath afternoon, Adventist Medical Center Manila (AMCM) church care groups reach out to communities. Some of them give bread to the poor, others give Bible studies and others do community services. An active church was established in Taguig as a result of their outreach.
North Philippine Union Conference office workers divided into groups, work in different barangays of Pasay City. They give health lectures, family seminars and medical assistance together with our hospital. As a result, they have established a good relationship with the people.
Professor Moraleta, the Navales family, AMCM church and the workers of NPUC followed the roadmap to mission. It’s heartwarming to see that many of our members, families, churches and institutions embracedfully the Lords’ call to fulfill our mission. They understood that it’s no longerbusiness as usual. They knew that this is now the time to ACT and take part in sharing the news that Jesus is about to come. Our people are ready to be involved in Philippines for Christ 2018.
In this issue of MIZPA, we will witness how the Lord has been leading the church as it follows the roadmap to mission. We will see results. We will be introduced to people who had experienced the power of the Holy Spirit who changed their lives. God is using the church to touch people’s lives through their ministries, care groups and integrated efforts in winning people for God’s kingdom.
May we be encouraged to follow the roadmap to mission.
