Daniel Malabad

Pastor Daniel A. Malabad is a dedicated leader within the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Philippines. He currently serves as the president of the Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission (NLPUM), a position he assumed following the union's establishment on January 1, 2025. This reorganization of the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) aimed to enhance the church's mission and outreach in Northern Luzon.

Prior to his current role, Pastor Malabad served as the president of the Palawan Mission (PM), where he led various initiatives, including large-scale medical and evangelistic campaigns. For instance, during a mega clinic event in Puerto Princesa, he coordinated with local authorities to provide free use of the city coliseum, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement and resourceful leadership.

As the first president of NLPUM, Pastor Malabad has expressed a strong belief in the union's mission, stating, "There will be significant challenges in the coming years, but we firmly believe that we are not alone. The Lord is with us—His guidance, His promises—so that His plans for NLPUM may be accomplished."

His leadership is characterized by a deep commitment to service, a focus on community outreach, and a reliance on spiritual guidance to navigate the challenges of church administration and mission work.

Pastor Jose V. Zabat Jr was born and raised in the province of Nueva Ecija. He studied at the Adventist University of the Philippines formerly known as Philippine Union College, where he completed ABHPR and BTH in 1991. He earned a Master’s Degree in Ministry and a Doctor of Ministry in 2023, both from Adventist International Institute of Advance Studies (AIIAS) in Silang, Cavite.

He served for 22 years in the Central Luzon Conference as a district pastor and departmental director for Family Ministries, Livelihood, ACS, Sabbath School/Personal Ministries and ASI. In 2016, he was appointed by the North Philippine Union Conference Executive Committee as department director for Sabbath School/Personal Ministries. In addition to his responsibilities, he was assigned as coordinator of Nurturing Discipleship Reclamation-Integrated Evangelism Lifestyle & Adventist Mission.

During the 3rd NPUC Constituency Meeting held on November 16-17, 2021, he was elected as the Executive Secretary of North Philippine Union Conference.

Following the bifurcation, he was elected as the first Executive Secretary of Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission effective January 1, 2025.

Pastor Jose V. Zabat Jr is God’ servant, leader, organizer, motivator, and dedicated pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Germilyn Rabang

Mrs. Germilyn R. Rabang serves as the Treasurer of the Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission (NLPUM) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was appointed to this role following the union's establishment on January 1, 2025, after the reorganization of the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC).

Prior to her current position, Mrs. Rabang served as the Treasurer of the Northern Luzon Mission, a role she held until the reorganization . In addition to her responsibilities as treasurer, she has been involved in various departmental roles within the church, including stewardship and legal affairs.

Her extensive experience in church finance and administration has been instrumental in supporting the mission's financial leadership and ensuring the effective allocation of resources to advance the church's mission in Northern Luzon.
