Gerardo L. Cajobe
President
glcajobe@adventist.ph
Pastor Gerry Cajobe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from what was then Philippine Union College, now known as AUP, and a Master's Degree in Ministry from Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS).
His journey in the church began 26 years ago as a LE ministerial intern, a path followed by most aspiring pastors during his time. Over the course of the next decade, he served in various churches, with his farthest assignment being in Palawan as a church and district pastor. Subsequently, he assumed the position of Ministerial Secretary of CLC, a role he held for nearly another ten years.
Prior to coming to NPUC, he served as the executive secretary of the Central Luzon Conference. During the constituency meetings in November 2021, he was appointed as the Ministerial Secretary of NPUC. However, his tenure in this position was brief, as he was entrusted with the significant responsibility of leading NPUC as president shortly thereafter.
Pastor Gerry is happily married to Diovelyn Ferry, who has been a supportive partner in his ministry. Diovelyn presently serves as an accountant of NPUC. Together, they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters.
If there's one thing that Pastor Gerry is deeply passionate about, it is discipleship. His fervent desire is to see church members becoming intentional in their commitment to being true followers of Jesus, going above and beyond for Him. Recognizing that discipleship thrives in small group settings, he actively teaches church members how to engage in care group ministry. For him, care groups are not just a part of "doing" church, but an integral aspect of "being" the church.
Pastor Gerry and his wife also find joy in mentoring and coaching young couples, guiding them on how to embrace their missional roles as partners in spreading the Gospel.
