North Philippine Union Conference Is Now Officially Dissolved
The dissolution of the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) was officially approved on November 19, 2024, during the NPUC Special Constituency Meeting held in Pasay City. This action comes after the General Conference Executive Committee approved the proposed reorganization of NPUC into two separate union missions.
Strengthening Adventist Possibility Ministries in the North Philippines
APM is a caring ministry dedicated to serving specific groups of people including the blind, deaf, mentally and emotionally challenged, physically challenged, orphans and vulnerable children, widowed, and caregivers. It is a ministry of the church that seeks to “bring wholeness to people who experience brokenness and to help rediscover their completeness in Christ.”
Officers Appointed for New Union Missions in Luzon
The pioneering officers for the two union missions – Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission and Southern Luzon Philippine Union Mission were appointed at the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) during its Executive Committee Meeting held on Monday afternoon, November 11, 2024. They will serve throughout 2025, until the next regular session scheduled at the year’s end.
Hope Channel Philippines Breaks Ground for New Building
The groundbreaking ceremony for Hope Channel Philippines (HCP) is yet another leap of faith and a manifestation of the growth of the gospel work in the Philippines. Held on November 5 at the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) campus, the event was attended by leaders from the Communication and Hope Channel Departments of the Southern-Asia Pacific Division (SSD), the Adventist regional office in Southeast Asia, and from the regional offices throughout the Philippines.
